Located on the western coast of Oahu in Kapolei...Electric Beach was a pleasant surprise! We chose to visit this beach since it was a quick 10 minute drive from our hotel. We packed our masks and snorkels in case there was anything to see, and we absolutely regret not packing our fins as there were tons of reefs not too far off the shore. Although the current was somewhat strong, the water was crystal clear and so refreshing to cool off in. The kids were amazed to see so many fish and another sea turtle so close to the shore. We also enjoyed finding shells and different color sea glass in the sand!
We can't wait to explore more of the western coast beaches and return to snorkel more at Electric Beach!
If you are staying on the west side of Oahu, do not miss out on snorkeling at Electric Beach, you will not be disappointed!
